Hall lighting - what to look for?
We should start the lighting project of the hall by choosing energy-efficient and efficient industrial lamps, and arrange them appropriately throughout our facility. The LED lighting of the production hall should meet all the requirements regarding the level of illumination, its uniformity and limiting the effects of glare. We must also remember the proper luminance distribution as well as the appropriate color rendering index. Below I will present you with the most important guidelines according to which the lighting of industrial halls is designed.Illumination intensity - given in lux (lx) depending on the place and type of work done there, will have to meet slightly different standards. We will be able to afford less light on the corridor, but in the case of a place where employees will assemble small elements, the light must be sufficiently large.
Uniformity of lighting - it is the ratio of the smallest and averaged illuminance on a given plane. It is a parameter included in the PN 84 / E-02033 norm, which states that in permanent workplaces it cannot be less than 0.65, and in casual workplaces - 0.4.
The level of glare - determined by the UGR factor is extremely important in workplaces, where often we will be forced to look directly at the light lamps. Anti-glare lamps through their special construction, do not cause unpleasant glare effects and allow us to look directly at the light source for a long time.
Light luminance is a vector that determines the level of light scattering through non-luminous surfaces. This is, according to the school definition, the quotient of the luminosity of the elementary surface area in this direction to the apparent surface area of this element.
Color Rendering Index RA - CRI (Color Rendering Index) is one of the most important light parameters. It is given in the range from 0 to 100 and it is a comparison of the quality of light and the real level of color donation by them to the natural sunlight. The RA coefficient, the more the light is closer to the natural light.

The LED lighting of a production hall can consist of two different types of products. Industrial lights can be divided into those designed for creating continuous rows of light, that is, linear and high bay industrial lamps, which are economical replacements for traditional bucket lamps.Linear industrial lamps are perfect for large-area facilities, where it is important to properly illuminate long communication routes or shelves. Very often we have the option of linear connection of this type of lamps, thanks to which we can create light lines that evenly light low storage warehouses or production plants. Industrial luminaires of this type also have a specific lighting angle, which, depending on the setting of the lamp, will be directed differently.
High Bay LED lamps are an energy-efficient replacement for traditional bucket lamps. The most popular and the newest of them are the UFO series, equipped with a special lens and a passive radiator. It is an excellent choice for high-bay warehouses because such lamps can emit very narrow, directional luminous flux reaching only a few degrees.
